Bio:

Coach Johnson has an extensive coaching resume and brings his leadership and winning attitude to the Henderson Force. After an impressive playing career culminating in a stretch playing NCAA DI and DIII hockey, he took his talents to the front office.

Spending 8 years as an NAHL scout for the Minnesota Wilderness and Chippewa Steel helped him understand players and find the very best players for the positions on each team. His coaching career spans over a decade with stints in the WSHL and NCAA DIII at Tufts University. He then spent 3 years as Head Coach of the Tier 1 Vegas 16U Jr. Golden Knights and 18U East Coast Spartants. After utilizing his talent as a skills coach with the Vegas Jr. Golden Knights and UNLV he made the jump to the USPHL, first for the Islanders Hockey Club and ultimately with the Henderson Force. His knowledge of the game is unparalleled and brings an intensity and attention to detail to every team he has coached. He demands a commitment to teamwork and player development ensuring all the players on his team become better people as well as better players.
